Chronotan: some commenters on the forum were concerned that the entire text was somewhat long, so I moved your bit to the main page of this series: Basic flying tutorial. Hope you're okay with that!

Diederick: of course I'm okay with that. These texts are nothing more than a simple contribution in the hopes that someone might like it. Do with them whatever you feel improves them.

To Diederick: We have a pretty starting point on a starport now (Tranquility on Barnard's star). So no flight to a starport is needed anymore. Thanks for your help. :)
