You find yourself in the cockpit of what will for all intents and purposes be your new home, no, your new skin, for you will never again leave it, until you buy a better ship. But why even consider anything else than the magnificent Cobra Mk. III, a ship known for its versatility, its speed, its resilience, suitable for any and all roles one could imagine. A very wise choice, in case you had any.

You are in the docking bay of Lave Station, looking through the wind shield of the Cobra. Wind shield? you ask. What wind will it shield me from? Just bear with me. We start out simple, with the basics. You learn to fly a ship using its thrusters. As soon as you master that, we'll move on to computer control and flying into atmospheres.
